Lismore and District Women's Health Centre Inc.

This centre aims to provide a holistic community-based service that works actively to support the rights of all women to quality health services that are self-determining.

Location: 25 Uralba Street Lismore.
Hours: 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday.

There is no charge to see the Women's Health Nurse, or to access the Eating Disorders Services. All other services cost $15- $ 30 per session. Free childcare is provided at the Gingerbread House just three doors up the street..

At this centre women may see a Women’s Health Nurse for:

consultations for contraceptive advice
diaphragm fitting
pregnancy testing and pregnancy options
termination referrals and post termination checks

Counselling services are available for:

grief and loss
anxiety
depression
domestic violence
eating disorders
sexuality
parenting
counselling for lesbians
childhood and family of origin issues

The Centre also offers massage, naturopathy, acupuncture, health education and information.

Lismore and District Women's Health Centre Inc is currently involved in Healthy Jarjums (nutritional program for Indigenous women and children), WRAP, and Eating Disorders Programs.
