For non emergency Counselling there are a number of services:

Lismore and District Women’s Health Centre
Women’s Health Nurses can refer you for Counselling, they provide clinics at many locations across the Northern Rivers area.
For women in crisis

TWEED SHIRE WOMEN’S RESOURCE CENTRE

Location: Murwillumbah
Service provided: as well as running the Tweed Women’s Refuge and six exit houses, this service provides a Women’s Resource Centre for crisis counselling, groupwork, access to legal advice (staff from Community Legal Centre - Lismore), rooms for groups to meet, a resource library and a newsletter.
MACLEAN WOMEN’S RESOURCE CENTRE

Service provided: 1 day per week outreach service providing information and referral, legal assistance (monthly), and groupwork.
MULLUMBIMBY WOMEN’S INFORMATION AND SUPPORT NETWORK

Services provided: domestic violence information, support and referral, involvement in domestic violence court support, women’s support group.
