The services provided by the refuge include:
- A safe place for women and children who need to escape from physical and emotional violence
- Short term, crisis accommodation
- Information for clients to consider options and make choices which meet their needs
- Outreach Program for those needing support but not requiring accommodation
- Advocacy and Support with: Police/legal matters, Centrelink, Health and medical matters, Housing, Schools/childcare,
- Referral to other agencies.
Domestic Violence Support Group – meets weekly to discuss such topics as:
- The cycle of abuse,
- Self Esteem,
- Relaxation Therapy,
- Parenting (Child minding available during group discussions)
