Co-Promotions
Local food shops may be interested in working with you to support the Tooty Fruity Vegie message. We have worked with fruit shops and supermarkets that have been eager to promote the Tooty Fruity Vegie project and to sponsor schools in return for free advertising in the school newsletter.
One supermarket has agreed to promote a “fruit and vegetable of the month” which coincides with nutrition information and recipe ideas for the same fruit and vegetable in the local school newsletter. Where possible, the school canteen also promotes the fruit and vegetable in their monthly specials. Our fruit and vegetable of the month recipes and ideas come from the wonderful Sydney Markets website http://www.sydneymarkets.com.au/f-media_promotions.php 
We have included our co-promotions signs (61.00 Kb) 
for you to print and laminate for use in the store.
Local stores have also supported the program in exchange for free advertising in the school newsletter by:
- Giving 10% discounts on fruit and vegetables to parents of students of TFV schools
- Giving 10 – 20% discounts on fruit and vegetables to school canteens
- Donating fruits and vegetables and other ingredients to the Kids in the kitchen cooking class
- Donating boxes of fruits for school events including taste testing.
