Head Injury Support Group

The 'Family Support Group' for families of people who have sustained a brain injury meets at Brunswick Community Centre on the first Thursday of each month. The aim of the group is to provide education, skills and support for family members. They have a different topic each month and a program for the year has been devised from the suggestions of family members.

At the same time, there is a client group meeting which enables their family members to meet and be supported. The clients do different activities and/or have guest presenters and generally enjoy the sharing time.

For more information please contact Karen Thompson who is a Social Worker/Community Rehabilitation Worker with The North Coast Head Injury Service.
