Coeliac Support

There is a support group nationwide for those people [ children and adults] affected by Coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiforms.

The local chapter of the NSW Coeliac Association is run by ShelleyWilson,

This is available to NSW and QLD persons with proven coeliac disease.

THE QUEENSLAND COELIAC SOCIETY INC.

The Society runs a support centre at Newstead, which is open Monday to Friday, from 10am to 2pm. The centre offers up-to-date information, counselling, support, recipe books, videos, ID cards, ingredient lists and gluten free communion wafers to members, and information about travelling interstate or overseas.

Cooking classes, talks, morning and afternoon teas, coffee nights and dinners are organised from time to time.
