This 25 bed inpatient mental health unit includes a 5 bed high dependency unit and is able to accommodate both voluntary and involuntary patients

Appointment Contact	Admissions are 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Referrals can be made by contacting the 24 Hour Mental Health Access Line on 1300 369 968, or by presenting to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Tweed Hospital. Please note that the Mental Health Access Line is only available to people phoning from the North Coast Area Health Service area ie Tweed Heads in the north to Johns River south of Port Macquarie and west to the dividing range.
