Mullumbimby & District War Memorial Hospital - Birthing Service
The Byron Shire birthing service is integrated between Byron and Mullumbimby Hospitals. Labour and delivery service is undertaken at the Mullumbimby Hospital. Post natal care is undertaken at both hospitals. Antenatal classes are held at Brunswick Community Health Centre and Bangalow community health centre.
Low risk, 3 single room (with ensuit) unit. Water immersion for labor and delivery offered. Early discharge program available for mothers who wish to be discharged within 48 hours of giving birth.
