The Needle Syringe Program is a public health measure to reduce the spread of blood-borne viral infections among injecting drug users

Drop in service Tuesday and Thursday 8.30 - 1pm, and Friday 2.00 - 4.45pm. Services provided: access to full range of sterile injecting equipment, information, support, referral. When the drop in service is closed 'fitpacks' also available from Community Health Centre. Open Monday to Friday 8.30 - 4.45pm. Closed on Public Holidays. 24 hours access to large sharps safe-disposal bin.

After Hours Services

24 hours 'fitpack' vending machine behind lattice near the ambulance Bay at the Hospital Emergency Department(charges apply). 24 hours access to sharps safe-disposal bin.
