Health Participation Forums

Within the North Coast Area Health Service there are four Health Participation Forums servicing the following Networks:

Role

To discuss health service planning and service provision and provide advice to the Area Health Advisory Council and the Chief Executive

Provide representatives for working groups and special project committees
Provide comment on Department of Health and NCAHS policy documents
Provide community input into planning, development and evaluation of health services and establishment of priorities
Seek comment from the wider community on specific matters
Assist to ensure flow-on of information to the broader community.

Membership is drawn from across the area serviced by the individual forums
