Mental Health First Aid
The Hastings Macleay Health Participation Forum sponsored two courses in Mental Health First Aid in 2008. The first was held in Wauchope in June and the second in Port Macquarie on 13-14 November.
PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSIONS
Hastings Macleay HPF hosted a Public Information Session on Thursday 27 March at the Port Macquarie Racecourse 9am-12noon. Invitation
The Forum opened its meeting to the community on 23 October from 3pm at the Senior Citizen Centre Wauchope. All community were invited to participate in the meeting until 4pm. As representatives of the local community the Forum is interested in hearing the views and concerns of residents in relation to health issues. This was an opportunity for Wauchope residents to meet the Forum members and bring forward any local issues for discussion. Yvonne Carmichael, Executive Officer Wauchope District Memorial Hospital, provided an update on the activities and achievements of the Hospital over the past twelve months.
