The Families Portal has been developed by the Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Services with the assistance of a consortium of government agencies. The Families Portal allows families to look for online government information and services in the one place. It is about helping families find what they need without having to know which government agency's website to visit. The focus for this version of the Families Portal is on providing information for families with children, from Commonwealth and State/Territory Government agencies. This focus will be expanded over time to include both local government and non-government information.
