Port Macquarie Nursing Life :: Nightlife

This is definitely not a 'party town'.
If you enjoy nature, fabulous beaches and a healthy lifestyle with plenty to do - then this town might be for you. Although Port Macquarie does have clubs and pubs with free entertainment, and a number of upmarket resorts with entertainment and dining venues, the town is more recognised for it's natural beauty and the friendliness of the people who live there.

There's heaps to do at night in Port and many activities are free. You can study at University or technical college, take up arts and crafts through adult education, or enjoy an amazing array of community interest groups. You could seize the opportunity to try ham radio with the Amateur Radio Club, learn a language with Alliance Francaise, work to help prisoners of conscience all around the world with the local Amnesty International Group, or try Meditation groups, Belly Dancing and Aerobic Drumming, just to give a few examples of the variety of activities on offer.
