What You Will Need In Hospital

Please bring:

Any medication you are taking
Any X-Rays if applicable
Personal toiletry requirements
Pyjamas, nighties or suitable sleeping attire
Slippers or other suitable footwear
Dressing gown or day clothes if appropriate
Health Insurance book or details of insurance (if applicable)
Medicare, Pension, Healthcare or Repatriation Entitlement Card
Full details of Workers Compensation or Third Party Insurance classification claim (if applicable)

Valuables:

It is strongly recommended that jewellery, large amounts of money, or financial transaction cards are NOT brought to hospital as provisions for safe custody are limited. These items should be sent home with relatives. However, if unavoidable, please arrange with the Admission staff or Nursing staff for safe keeping of your valuables.

If you choose to keep money and/or valuables on your person during your stay, regrettably we cannot accept liability for these items.

Mobile phones

Mobile telephones are not permitted to be used in the hospital as they can interfere with electronic medical equipment and computer systems used by the hospital.
