Chaplaincy Services
Lismore Base hospital has a staff Chaplain whose services are available to patients, their families and staff. While providing pastoral care in the hospital environment, the chaplain is also available for general counsellingwith special emphasis on grief and loss counselling.
The Chaplain provides religious and spiritual counsel when requested as well as conducting special services in the chapel or elsewhere as required. The Chaplain is non-denominational.
The chapel is located on level 4 (street level) near the main entrance and offers a quiet space for all to sit, reflect, pray or simply find some solitude in a busy hospital.
