Waste Management in Health Care Facilities
The Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) of the Public Health Unit (PHU) provide guidance, advice and assistance with interpretation of the waste management guidelines to staff of health care facilities in the management, collection and disposal of waste products generated in health care facilities.
The Guidelines also apply to non-government Health Care Facilities (HCFs).
