Environmental Health

Environmental Health encompasses the monitoring, controlling and promotion of safe water, air, soil and the built environment. The Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) and trainee EHOs of the Public Health Unit (PHU) work with local Council, the community and other government departments to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our community. The EHOs work from operational centres based in Lismore and Port Macquarie.
