Drug & Alcohol Services include ambulatory detoxification, counselling, early intervention, hospital consultation, opioid treatment services, medical support & treatment, community development, education and training and the diversion into treatment of illicit drug offenders (MERIT) program. Centralised intake service ensures access to professionals for health staff and the community.

In the southern areas, the main service sites are Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie & Kempsey plus outreach to smaller sites. The service operates a 1300 (1300 662 263) line during normal business hours for all enquiries, including booking assessments and treatment.

In the northern areas, the main service sites are at Tweed Heads and Lismore with Community Health Centres and outreach programs offering assistance and referrals across the region
