The Community Health team currently operate in a number of locations in Nimbin while the Hospital is being redeveloped. Community Nurses are based at The Doctors Surgery in Cullen Street. Ph:(02) 6689 1288
What do we do?
Community Health services are vital in the life of country towns like Nimbin. Community Nurses play an important role in helping people with a variety of conditions stay on living at home. The Community Health team provides a wide range of services listed below. We aim to improve the health of the people in the Nimbin district by working with individuals, families, other service providers and the wider community. Appointments are necessary for most services in Community Health, made either by phone, or in person.

Who can use these services?
Services are available to all people living in the Nimbin area. Referral for services is not necessary.
There is no charge for Community Health Services with the exception of the hiring of some equipment.
