What do we do?
Community Health services are vital in the life of country towns like Murwillumbah. Community Nurses play an important role in helping people with a variety of conditions stay on living at home. The Community Health team provides a wide range of services listed below. We aim to improve the health of the people in the Murwillumbah district by working with individuals, families, other service providers and the wider community. Appointments are necessary for most services in Community Health, made either by phone, or in person.

Who can use these services?
Services are available to all people living in the Northern Rivers Area. Referral for services is not necessary.
There is no charge for Community Health Services with the exception of the hiring of some equipment.
