Women's Health
The Women's Health Program provides services to improve the health and well being of women of all ages.
The NSW Department of Health 259 KB ‘Strategic Framework to Advance the Health of Women’ suggests that the health of women is determined by a range of social, environmental, economic, cultural and biological factors. Many health programs and policies tend to emphasize the biological aspects of health care, focusing on the bio-medical models of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of an individual’s ill health and overlook the other factors which impact on the health of women.
