Hearing Tests

There are Community Health Hearing Clinics across the North Coast Area Health Service region. Consult the service directory list of audiometry clinics and their locations.

Children from 3� years and adults are seen at all clinics except for Tweed Heads where they test infants and older children. All adult clients require referral from a General Practitioner or Ear Nose & Throat Specialist (ENT). Trained accredited nurse audiometrists manage these centres.

Industrial Hearing Screenings / Programs are carried out at a cost to the referring agent.

These clinics are located at the Community Health Centres of Ballina, Bonalbo, Byron Bay, Casino, Coraki, Grafton, Kyogle, Mullumbimby, Murwillumbah, Tweed Heads, and the Child and Family Health Centre at Goonellabah.

In the southern part of our region there are clinics located at the Community Health Centres of Bellingen, Camden Haven, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey and Port Macquarie
