Aboriginal Health
Aboriginal Health is responsible for ensuring the delivery of culturally appropriate health services, as well as offering access to culturally appropriate social welfare services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people throughout the NCAHS area.
Aboriginal Health is part of the Primary & Extended Care Services section of the North Coast Area Health Service. As such it has a responsibility to work within the guidelines, policy outlines and strategic plans of that organisation.
It also works within the guidelines, policy outlines and strategic plans of the Aboriginal Health Branch of the NSW Health Department.
